Furniture Restoration

Got vintage or antique furniture that’s seen better days or has got damaged over time?

Help is at hand. I’d love to revive it and reinstate it to its original beauty for you. French polishing, for example, brings original surfaces back to life using conservation principles. Contemporary refinishing can really restore the character of mid-century furniture and sensitive repair work – like fixing legs, joints, scratches, wobbles and woodworm damage – makes furniture sturdy enough to stand the test of time.

Got a piece of furniture you no longer love? Let’s work together to come up with a design to fit your décor and lifestyle. Dull can become delightful – using paint, stain, advanced furniture decorating techniques and gilding, for example.

Upholstery

I’m happy to do upholstery – on sets of dining chairs, single statement chairs, some armchairs, and stools – so please feel free to ask. I’ll fix the piece if needed before reupholstering, and I only use high-quality products that meet all UK fire regulations.
